In honor of the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 15 Moon Landing, we decided to recreate the experience on Google Cardboard VR. We used the latest, most accurate data from NASA to simulate the actual landing on the Moon.
The goal is to bring the mission to life in a way that's similar to what you might see in a movie. We tried to make it as realistic as possible, using real-life footage from the Apollo 15 mission, and some data from NASA. The experience is a little different from what you might expect, since it's a virtual reality demo that requires you to use a Google Cardboard VR headset, and a powerful smartphone to run it.
